My husband and I started this company in 2015. We believe that family should always come first. I wanted to share my experiences, education, and the wonders of Applied Behavior Analysis with other families. I believe that learning should be fun, exciting, unique and NATURAL. My husband Charles "Chuck" is my office Manager. He has been by my side throughout this whole adventure!
I have been working with children for a very long time. I started out as a teacher in both General Education and Special Education Settings. For over 15 years (close to 20 now) I have served children and families in the community. My motto has always been highly focused on Enthusiastic Education and learning, CREATING UNIQUE LEARNING EXPERIENCES!
For the last 7 years I have been consulting in schools, supporting families and providing support in homes. I have collaborated for many years with school districts within IEP meetings to support our clients. I believe that collaboration between schools and families show the most value for our children.
I carry a bachelors degree in Psychology, a Master's degree in Special Education, I am dually certified in both Special Education and General Education and have a graduate certificate in behavioral studies.
Alissa Juliana Cerofeci is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who joined our team over 2 years ago. She is a valuable asset to our company. She holds a Masters Degree in Special Education and a Graduate Certificate for Applied Behavior Analysis. She graduated from Neumann University with a dual Bachelors degree in Early Elementary and Special Education. Alissa taught in the school setting for five years as a special education teacher in a variety of classrooms ranging from Kindergarten to Third grade. These settings included the inclusion, resource, and self-contained classroom. While completing her studies in ABA, Alissa decided to provide in-home services as an ABA Therapist to help her gain an understanding of the environment so she could best supervise her future therapists. As a BCBA, she has gained experience in both the home and school settings with clients of varying ages and abilities. Alissa enjoys seeing progress in her clients and working with devoted behavior technicians. She shows her love and dedication everyday with her hard work ethic and kindness and understanding.
As a small company we have been very lucky with our technicians. Many of of our technicians have stayed with us for years. WE value their experience and expertise, but most of all we value their dedication to our children. They are our frontline, and I can not speak enough about my small little team. Some of our technicians may have arrived as novices but have become masters of the art.
